Pet Home Visits

Our pet home visits are for pets that need a home care visit. Big Paws and Pals offer home care for visits for all pets. From Guinea Pigs, to Great Danes, Big Paws and Pals have experienced carers that will happily care for your pet.

Small, cage/hutch animal visits

These visits are ideal if you are going on holiday, as the pet is able to stay at home, in its own surroundings. We will visit as required, to feed, fuss, change water and clean out their cage or hutch. We ensure that food bowls and water bottles are clean, and bedding is changed as required. Your pet will be monitored during the visit, and owners are updated when we leave. We remove the dirty bedding and clean up any mess that has been made.

Cat home care visits.

We will visit as for a hour as required, to feed, fuss, change water and clean litter trays. We ensure that food and water bowls are clean, and litter trays are changed at each visit. A play and cuddle time is included.  Cats are monitored at each visit and owners are updated when we leave. We remove dirty litter and clean up any mess that has been made.

Dog home care visits.

Some times dogs are not able to cope with an hour long walk, maybe because they are elderly or unwell, but would still benefit from some company during the day. These hour long visits include, cleaning up if the dog has had an accident, a short walk to take care of business and to get some fresh air, and when they get home they have cuddle and playtime. We ensure water bowls are filled and clean up any mess made. Owners are updated at the end of the visit.

Puppy Visits

These visits are for puppies that are not able to socialise with other dogs yet. These hour long visits include accident clean ups, puppy pad changing and lots of playtime and cuddles. Water is checked and food is given if required. If ongoing visits are required we can help with the socialisation process, to ensure that the change from visits to group walks is stress free and successful.

We are also able to offer care visits for reptiles, fish and birds.

Sometimes you just need a belly rub.
